How do I place an order?

  1. Order online here.

  2. When you have found the item you want, click the "Buy Now" button to add it to your shopping cart.

  3. In the shopping cart window, you can alter the quantity of items to buy, and also select any colour or style options which are applicable.

  4. You can click "Continue shopping" from the cart window, and add multiple items to your cart if you wish.

  5. When you have selected everything you want to buy, click "Checkout" from the cart or from the top of the shopping page.

  6. On the checkout page:Click "Submit Order" to go to the payment page.

    • Enter your promo or voucher code (if applicable).
    • Complete your name and contact details for our sales records under the section headed "Customer Details".
    • If your purchase is to be sent to a different person, complete their contact details under the section headed "Delivery Address".
    • If you wish to have a personalised hand-written gift tag included with your purchase, complete the "Gift Message" box.  Please remember that we can only fit a short message on a gift tag and create your message accordingly.
    • Choose your payment method.
    • Use the "Additional Comments" box for any other information or requests - eg, urgent delivery request, instructions for wrapping multiple items together or separately, wrapping paper colour preferences, etc.

 

What methods of payment does Online Baby Gifts accept?

  1. Online credit card payment - Visa or Mastercard (with either PayPal or PayMate).
  2. Online credit card payment - American Express (with PayPal only).
  3. PayPal.
  4. Internet banking.
  5. Cheque by post.

Please note that if you wish to pay by cheque or internet banking, we will dispatch the goods only once payment is received and cleared.

Online Baby Gifts uses a secure payment system that captures all credit card details on a secure page and encrypts all sensitive details for processing.  Every transaction is assessed for risk which means that you can order confidently with us.

Credit card payments made before 6pm on a week day will be processed overnight.

Payment by online banking takes one business day to clear.

Are my credit card details safe if I pay online?

Shopping online with us is as safe, if not safer, than shopping in an actual store. This site uses a secure payment gateway service and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the industry standard encryption, to protect you against any loss, misuse or alteration of your credit card information.

 

Do you provide gift wrapping?

Yes, gift wrapping and hand written personalised gift tags are FREE for all orders.

We use premium quality wrapping paper and ribbon in a range of contemporary and classic colour ways.  If you have specific preferences in regard to wrapping and presentation please mention them in the additional comments box at checkout.  We will endeavour to accommodate such requests, but can not guarantee that your preferences will be possible.

 

How do I change my order?

To ensure we alter the correct order please quote the order number (this is on the email order confirmation we send you).  Please contact us by phone or email to make any alteration.

Our ability to change the order will depend on how quickly you contact us and whether we can intercept the order.  In some cases orders are dispatched within the hour, so it is important you contact us as quickly as possible if you wish to change something.

 

Back orders / Stock availability

From time to time, items may be out of stock.  Generally this will be shown on the website.  However, sometimes multiple orders may be received between our daily stock updates.  Should this occur, we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of the situation. You will be given the opportunity to cancel your order, choose an alternate product, or, if possible, we will back-order your item.

In the event that more than one item is ordered, the items in-stock will be dispatched to you, and the back-ordered item shipped once we have received it, at our cost.

Photos depicted are a guideline only.  Designs and colours may vary depending on the season and will often look different on different computers.

 

Returns Policy

At Online Baby Gifts we want you to be happy with your purchase and our service. We know that although our products are all of exceptional quality, from time to time a customer may purchase an item that is not the right size, colour, or they just may not like it. If that is the case we encourage you to contact us via email or phone to arrange an exchange.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will happily exchange it or provide a credit, provided that the item is returned to us within 30 days of purchase, and is in new, unused condition, is unassembled, and is in its original packaging. Items purchased and sent as gifts are able to be returned on the same terms.

Please contact us within 7 days of purchase, and prior to returning an item, and we will help to arrange the exchange for you.

Return the item in original packaging, with a note indicating your name and who you have spoken with to arrange the return. Please also ensure it is packed carefully so there is no damage during the shipping process.

Shipping expenses, in both directions, are not refundable, unless there was an error on our part.

All sale and special order purchases are final; no refunds or credits are available.

 

Faulty Goods Policy

We are proud of the products we provide and will happily exchange, refund or replace any item that is faulty. 

If the goods you receive are faulty, please contact us immediately. Please provide us with a description of the problem (in some cases we might be able to help resolve it over the phone).

 

Privacy

The privacy of your customer data, orders and credit cards is important to us. We will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party.

Credit card details are not stored anywhere on our servers or in our premises. Your credit card details are processed in real time by an independent payment gateway authorised by our bank and using secure encryption at all times.

 

Are your prices GST inclusive?

Yes, all prices quoted are in New Zealand Dollars and include 15% GST.

Online Baby Gifts does not warrant that your access to the network or the information contained will remain error free, or that the network or the server which stores and delivers the website and its contents to you will remain free of viruses or other harmful components. By accessing the website you agree that Online Baby Gifts will not be liable as a result of any error, virus or other harmful component.
